Magadan Hosts Round Table on Regional Business Development

The "My Business" Center recently hosted a round table meeting for entrepreneurs and regional authorities titled "Current Business Issues."

The event brought together members of the business community and government officials to discuss key legislative changes, regulatory issues, and ways to improve the business climate in the Magadan Region.

Participants included representatives from the Federal Tax Service, Rospotrebnadzor (Consumer Rights Protection), Roskomnadzor (Media and Communications Oversight), as well as other government agencies and business support institutions.

Thirteen entrepreneurs attended the session, including company executives, individual business owners, and the self-employed.

The discussion covered several key topics:

·         Changes in tax legislation and reporting;

·         Current requirements for personal data protection;

·         Compliance with the "Chestny Znak" (Honest Mark) tracking system;

·         Support measures for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region;

·         Interaction between entrepreneurs and regulatory bodies through "open dialogue."

Speakers addressed participant inquiries and provided practical recommendations for business operations.

Entrepreneurs highlighted the importance of an open exchange of views and the opportunity to receive first-hand clarifications.

"Such meetings help foster mutual understanding and build trust between business and the state. We can see that a constructive dialogue truly yields results," noted Grigory Chub, the Magadan Region Business Ombudsman.

Following the meeting, participants agreed to continue their cooperation through routine channels and considered making such meetings a regular occurrence. The next round table is scheduled for early 2026.
