The Government of the Magadan region voiced the main areas of work in 2023
The main areas of work of the Government of the Magadan region for the current year were announced by Governor Sergey Nosov. In his opinion, this year will be no less stressful for managers because of the serious role of the Far East in the development of the country as a whole.
"We must put the consistency and quality of the Magadan region development projects within the framework of the decisions taken by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in terms of the strategic development of the Far East in the forefront. Thanks to Vladimir Putin's support, Kolyma has been actively developing over the last four years, including construction projects, modernization of infrastructure facilities, opening of new enterprises, and conversion of existing production facilities. All together it should lead to an increase in the revenue of the regional budget.
The head of the region noted that the main emphasis should be made on the implementation of concessions, in which the Magadan region has become a pioneer.
"We did a lot of preparatory work back last year and started implementing a number of facilities. It is important to step up the pace. Preparatory work should be translated into the actual volume of concrete produced, houses under construction and other facilities. The amount of planned projects this year is impressive. Now it is important to move to construction.
We have a positive decision from Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy Yury Trutnev. A great work is ahead on the master plan, which implementation we will have to report to Vladimir Putin. Let's get to work," said Sergey Nosov, placing the main emphasis on the development of the Magadan region in 2023.
At the meeting of the Government not only the volumes of construction of infrastructure facilities were announced, but also the planned indicators for the construction of houses and the resettlement of emergency housing, the modernization of water and electricity supply networks in order to increase the reliability and stability of the housing and utilities system. The trends of growth of economic indicators of the region, on which the filling of the revenue part of the budget depends, were also announced.
