Alexey Chekunkov, Head of the Ministry for Development of Russian Far East, assessed the Magadan region's pavilion at the "Far East Street"

Alexey Chekunkov, Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, visited the Far East Street exhibition on the quay of Ajax Bay. He started exploring the expositions with the pavilion of the Magadan region together with the Governor Sergey Nosov.

At the entrance, the delegation was greeted by an off-road vehicle on which Kolyma traveler Bogdan Bulychev and members of the Russia 360 expedition set several world records by taking challenging routes across the Russian Arctic and our Far East. Alexey Chekunkov inspected the interior and was impressed by the size and power of the all-terrain vehicle.

In the Kolyma pavilion itself, the head of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East was presented with interactives demonstrating the nature of our region, wild animals, and the urban environment - projects that have already been implemented and those that are still being planned.

According to the source, the minister was also interested in souvenirs - works of Kolyma craftsmen and the main "highlight" of our site - a big brown bear, which strikes with its realism. Sergey Nosov said that the exhibits were so interesting to the guests of the exhibition that many wanted to buy them.

Far East Street is becoming more and more inventive," said Alexey Chekunkov.
