Governor Sergey Nosov: I would like to thank all those who designed our pavilion at WEF-2024

Magadan region delegation headed by Governor Sergey Nosov takes part in WEF-2024.

The head of the region and other participants have already had time to visit the exposition of Magadan region at the Far East Street, noting the good preparation of the exhibition.

"I really like our pavilion. It's spacious enough to visit, visually appealing, beautiful inside and out. There is an opportunity to get acquainted with souvenir products and other products that are produced only in our region. Colleagues from other regions appreciated the quality of the encapsulated Omega-3 fat. I would like to thank all those who conceptualized and designed the pavilion. Way to go, guys!," said Governor Sergey Nosov.

It should be reminded that the business program of the head of the region also includes signing of agreements aimed at socio-economic development of the Magadan region, a number of bilateral negotiations, participation in sessions.

The Kolyma Exhibition Complex consists of a main covered pavilion, a small pavilion and an open area.

The main pavilion is divided into three zones:

The first one is the zone of modern development of Magadan region, it tells about the main industries of the region, tourist potential of the region;

The second one is the zone of demonstration of bone-carving art products of indigenous small ethnic communities of the North living in Magadan region;

The third is an issue-related zone that introduces a tourist attraction - the lake of "dancing graylings".

Researchers conduct a number of studies of visitors and make recommendations to improve wellness.

In addition, the pavilion presents the results of the research of re-esterified fish oil Omega-3 of the highest quality and concentration, it is produced in Magadan at the only plant of its kind in Russia.

They also sell products with nuggets and souvenirs, and hold master classes in bone-carving and bead weaving.

The site has been installed with:

Mammoth sculpture "Time" by Yuri Rudenko;

a recreational island stylized to resemble the "Mayak Park" created in Magadan in the Nagayev Bay;

a stele with the name Magadan region;

a photo zone about the tourism potential of the region.

Everyone is also welcome to participate in weaving camouflage nets to be handed over to the SMO area. For this purpose, a machine was brought in from the region to simplify the process. It was made by Kolyma master blacksmith Oleg from Ust-Omchug.

By the way, next to the Kolyma pavilion there is a Burlak all-terrain vehicle. Its height is 3.2 m and its length is more than 7 m. On this vehicle our fellow countryman, traveler and blogger Bogdan Bulychev and members of the expedition "Russia 360" have set several world records, passing difficult routes through the entire Russian Arctic and our Far East. For the first time, wheeled vehicles traveled from Murmansk to Chukotka – more than 33 thousand kilometers through 58 regions of our country.

The Eastern Economic Forum is holding an online voting for the best stand at the Far East Street. Kolyma residents are invited to vote for the Kolyma exposition. You can vote at this link.
