The modern training center will be located in a building on the roundabout of the 31st quarter in Magadan
According to the source, the reconstruction of an empty building on the roundabout of the 31st quarter in Magadan, where the Centre for advanced vocational training (CAVT) will be located, will be soon initiated.
The initiative to support the construction was addressed by the Governor of Magadan region Sergey Nosov to the Chairman of the Government Mikhail Mishustin during his visit to Kolyma last month. The centre is being designed to retrain and upgrade the skills of the region's residents. Guidance activities and a range of educational services, including for children, are planned.
"Today there is already an architectural solution, there is a project, a design project. It will be a small business centre, where the population of our region will be able to undergo training, retraining and advanced training, where children will come to study their professional module in order to decide about their future career, to get the first knowledge about the profession, skills. And it is very good that, when the CAVT will be independent, when our colleagues will have the opportunity to deploy their activities in a full format, we will be integrated into a single system and use the resources of the all-Russian platform," said Angela Shurkhno, Minister of Education of Magadan region.
The center for advanced vocational training in Magadan is already in operation. It was opened in October 2023 on the basis of an industrial technical school. The Center's facilities include modern educational spaces:
co-working space,
transformer auditorium,
computer lab,
project activity zone,
Severny Oplot (Northern Bulwark) blacksmith shop,
interactive video studio with the ability to create unique digital training video content.
Such centers are being created within the framework of the national project "Education" throughout the country. They are aimed at strengthening the system of secondary vocational education and training in the region.
