The development of the Gorokhovoye Pole microdistrict in Magadan was discussed at a meeting of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation
Head of the Russian Ministry of Construction Irek Faizullin held a meeting devoted to the development of the Gorokhovoye Pole microdistrict in the Magadan region. The meeting was attended by the Governor of the Magadan region Sergey Nosov, representatives of subordinate institutions, the Territory Development Fund, DOM.RF, the Office of the Capital Construction Customer of the Russian Ministry of Defence.
"More than 200 thousand square metres of housing and social infrastructure are planned to be built in the new microdistrict. Now the construction of the first two houses, a school for 1000 pupils, a kindergarten for 340 places, an educational centre for 657 and a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation centre for people with disabilities for 50 places is underway," said Sergey Nosov.
Gorokhovoye Pole integrated development is one of the most ambitious projects in Kolyma over the last decades and is part of the master plan for the development of the regional centre approved by the President of Russia. An entire micro-district with all the social infrastructure is supposed to be created here. The basis will be residential buildings, 12 buildings are expected to be built.
Following the meeting, Sergey Nosov and Irek Faizullin discussed the development of the region's construction complex, modernisation of infrastructure andhousing and public utility sector, as well as the implementation of projects supervised by the Russian Ministry of Construction.
It should be noted that Irek Faizullin, Minister of Construction and Housing of Russia, had visited Magadan with a working visit in March this year. Together with the Governor of the Magadan region, Sergey Nosov, he inspected the construction progress of social facilities being built in Magadan under the master development plan, national projects, state programmes and concession agreements.
During his visit, the head of the Ministry of Construction of Russia noted the positive changes in the appearance of Magadan and emphasised that the residents themselves can contribute to the formation of a comfortable urban environment by actively participating in the rating voting for the objects of improvement.

It is open to citizens of the Russian Federation who are at least 14 years old. The winning projects will be implemented in 2025 and subsequent years under the federal project "Formation of Comfortable Urban Environment" within the framework of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment".
