Governor Sergey Nosov held a business breakfast with Kolyma entrepreneurs

Governor Sergey Nosov had an informal meeting with representatives of small and medium-sized businesses in the Magadan region. The business breakfast was organized by the regional Entrepreneurship Development Fund.

The meeting was attended by about 30 representatives of various business spheres in the region: self-employed, individual entrepreneurs and heads of joint-stock companies.

Sergey Nosov answered questions about support measures for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. There were also raised the topics of the construction of a universal premises for the sale of goods of local producers and the reduction of energy tariffs for them; the topics of personnel ‘hunger’ in the region and the introduction of the ‘Cultural Code’ in the improvement of Magadan were also covered. A number of questions will be forwarded to line ministries for feedback to each applicant.

As the Governor noted, most of those who attended the meeting are young people who associate their fate and work with the Magadan region. They want to develop new industries in the region, engage in agriculture, and provide services in various spheres of the economy.

"Everyone wants not just to create a successful business, but also to contribute in improving the standard of living in Kolyma. They have relevant ideas - in many respects, they are reflected in the master plan developed on behalf of the President, which we are already implementing. There are good suggestions for reducing the margin on local products. I instructed the Ministry of Economic Development to work on the issue and present options for its solution," the governor said.

The support is being provided within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin and supervised by First Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov.
