Irek Fayzullin, Head of the Ministry of Construction of Russia, arrived in Magadan

Irek Faizullin, Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Utilities of Russia, arrived in Magadan with a working visit.

Together with the Governor of the Magadan region, Sergey Nosov, he inspected the construction progress of the air terminal complex for domestic airlines at Magadan International Airport. The new three-story air harbor sits adjacent to the existing airport. The total area of the building is more than 14 thousand m2, the total construction area is fifty and a half thousand m2. The capacity is 800 passengers per hour. At the moment, the frame of the building, inter-storey ceilings have been completely erected, works are being completed to close the thermal circuit, external networks, all auxiliary buildings and structures are in the process of construction.

We would like to remind you that the architectural appearance and interiors of the air harbour will reflect the peculiarities of nature, wealth of subsoil and labour achievements of the Magadan region. Part of the interiors will be dedicated to Vladimir Vysotsky, whose name the airport bears. The construction is planned to be completed in the 4th quarter of 2024.

On his way to Magadan, Irek Faizullin had time to assess the construction of a 36-apartment residential building in Sokol settlement on Koroleva Street, intended for resettlement of Kolyma residents from emergency housing.

In the regional centre together with Governor Sergey Nosov, the head of the Ministry of Construction reviewed some of the facilities under construction on Gorokhovoye Pole.

During his visit, Irek Faizullin will visit the facilities being built in Magadan under the master development plan, national projects, state programmes and concession agreements.

The Minister of the Russian Federation will also hold a meeting in the regional government concerning the activities of the construction complex of the Magadan region.
