The passenger vehicle fleet in Kolyma has been substantially renewed
Regular passenger transportations to the settlements of the Magadan region are becoming much more comfortable. This was achieved thanks to a significant renewal of the vehicle fleet. During 2023 and the first months of this year, thirteen new buses arrived in Magadan.
According to the Ministry of Roads and Transport of the Magadan region, two shift buses with a capacity of 22 passengers are designed to transport residents of the Omsukchan district.
Three shift buses with 20 seats will be launched for transportation to Arman, Talon. Two 19-seat GAZelle vehicles are planned for transportation to Seimchan.
Also among the new fleet are four KAvZ-4235 Aurora buses with a capacity of 34 passengers and two KAvZ-4235 buses with a capacity of 39 seats. These vehicles will run between the regional center and the settlements of Ola, Talaya and others.
Upon completion of the necessary measures related to registration and transfer of the buses to state ownership, calculation of the rental value, the new buses will be offered to carriers to perform regular flights on the routes: No. 513/514 "Magadan-Talon-Magadan", No. 511/512 "Magadan-Omsukchan-Magadan", No. 109 “Magadan-Arman-Magadan”, No. 105 “Magadan-Ola-Gadlya-Ola-Magadan”, No. 507/708 “Magadan-Talaya-Magadan”, No. 515/516 “Magadan-Seimchan-Magadan”.
Currently, the Magadan region is in the process of establishing a motor transport enterprise owned by the Government of the Magadan region, which, in case the carrier refuses to lease a motor vehicle, will carry out regular passenger transportation.
The renewal of the vehicle fleet for passenger transportation in the region is carried out within the framework of the national project "Safe Quality Roads" created by the decision of the President of Russia.
