New passenger transport for inter-municipal routes arrived in Magadan
According to the regional Ministry of Roads and Transport, new passenger buses from Naberezhnye Chelny have arrived in Magadan under its own power. This is one large shift bus and two smaller shift buses.
The transport that arrived to Kolyma is intended to perform inter-municipal routes to Omsukchan settlement, as well as to Arman, Yana, Talon.
Transport in the northern version, well insulated, as well as equipped with GLONASS system, tachograph, there is video surveillance of the cabin. Now the vehicles are at the motor depot of the Magadan KAMAZ vehicle centre. Upon completion of all necessary legal and technical procedures, the shift buses will be leased to the carrier. It is planned that the new shift vehicles will be launched on the line within a month.
In addition, Anton Oleinik, Head of the Department of Transport and Logistics of the Regional Ministry of Transport, said that seven more buses - five KAvZ, which will be used for routes to the settlements of Ola and Talaya, and two GAZels for transporting passengers to the settlement of Seimchan - are travelling by sea from Vladivostok to the Magadan region.
Another KAvZ and a large shift bus for Kolyma are in the process of assembly at the plant.
Renewing the country's public transport fleet is one of the most important tasks, and it is necessary to rely on the domestic industry to fulfil this task. This was announced by the Russian President at a meeting of the Presidium of the State Council last year.
