In 2023, the Magadan region for the first time entered the TOP-10 of the National Investment Climate Rating
According to the Minister of Economic Development, Investment Policy and Innovations of the Magadan region Irina Penevskaya, in 2023 the region ranked 9th in the country in the National Investment Climate Rating. According to her, one of the significant results was the high evaluation by the business community of Kolyma of the work in all areas in which business interacts with government authorities.
"Magadan region for the first time entered the top 10 of the National Investment Climate Rating, taking 9th place. Our regional practice of issuing guarantees has been recognized as the best and recommended for use by other constituent entities," Irina Penyevskaya emphasized.
The Minister noted that the past year was dedicated to the implementation of the regional investment standard. Under the leadership of Andrey Belousov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, all constituent entities of the Russian Federation implemented elements of the regional standard.
"Here I would also like to thank our business associations for the high appreciation of our work," Irina Penevskaya added.
As the Governor of the Magadan region Sergey Nosov noted earlier, at present business is ready to invest in major tourist projects, which indicates a high level of confidence in both regional and federal authorities, as well as in the national projects being implemented in the region.
"During the period when President Vladimir Putin said that the Far East is a priority for Russia's development for the 21st century, the Magadan region has achieved tremendous results. The work on preparation of Magadan's master plan up to 2030 has been completed. A long-term plan for integrated socio-economic development until 2030 has been prepared. All this points to real prospects in the future of Kolyma, to the reliability of our plans and intentions", said Sergey Nosov.
