In 2024, 120 yard areas will be landscaped in the Far East under the program “1000 yards”
Deputy Prime Minister, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev held a meeting of the Presidium of the Government Commission on Socio-economic Development of the Far East. The agenda includes additional provision of funds under the presidential Far Eastern subsidy, landscaping of yard areas under the program “1000 yards”, recognizing the investment project as a priority in order to finance it at the expense of Vnesheconombank, and implementing investment projects within the boundaries of the territories of advanced development Primorye on Russky Island.
“One of the issues is changing the plans for the social development of economic growth centers. There are a number of proposals for the use of funds from the presidential Far Eastern subsidy for 2023-2024. Nest year part of the subsidy will be directed to the “1000 yards” program. Instead of a thousand yards, 1245 yards have already been landscaped. The program is popular among people, there are good reviews. So we will continue and contribute to develop the Far Eastern territories. A number of funds will be used for the reconstruction of social and engineering facilities, more than 1600 such facilities have already been built and renovated,” Yuri Trutnev stressed, opening the meeting.
In 2023, funds in the amount of 27.8 billion rubles are provided to the Far Eastern regions for the implementation of social development plans for economic growth centers from the federal budget through the presidential Far Eastern subsidy.
In 2024, according to the “1000 yards” program, it is planned to landscape yard areas, including the Magadan region. In total, at least 120 yards will be landscaped in the Far Eastern regions next year. 825 million rubles will be provided to the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District for landscaping.
“We have renovated more yards than originally planned. And we will continue. We should improve all the yards in the Far East, not be limited to these ones,” said Yuri Trutnev.
In total, in 2024, the Far Eastern Federal District regions will receive 29.3 billion rubles within the program of the presidential Far Eastern subsidy, of which 28.5 billion rubles had already been agreed on.
The meeting approved the implementation of two investment projects in Russky Island, among which are the construction of a multifunctional administrative and business center and the creation of a multifunctional center with an apartment complex and infrastructure to promote development in the field of high technologies.
“Investors have received proposals for the construction of business centers on Russky Island. We need to develop Russky Island. And there are two main factors that we need to take into account. Firstly, the work should be carried out within the overall development of the island, which concludes science, innovation, and education. Before launching all investment projects, we discussed the development of Russky Island in the presence of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. We were instructed to develop such priority directions on the island's territory, as science and education development. Secondly, these projects should help develop the island in general. This is also one of the goals of this project,” said Yuri Trutnev.
