In 2023, it is planned to resettle 21.6 thousand square meters of emergency housing in Kolyma
As part of the regional project "Ensuring sustainable reduction of uninhabitable housing" it is planned to resettle 21.6 thousand square meters of emergency housing by the end of 2023. This was told by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Magadan region Yury Bodyaev.
New construction projects will be financed by the regional treasury and the Federal Territorial Development Fund. New residential houses will be built in Magadan as part of the first phase of the development the Gorokhovoye Pole residential complex, in Sokol and Ola settlements due to the commissioning of unfinished buildings. Construction of low-rise buildings will take place in Susumansky and Olsky districts. Thanks to the commissioning of the houses, the regional authorities intend to resettle residents of dilapidated and emergency buildings in Magadan, Ust-Omchug, Balagannoye, Tauysk and Kholodny.
The Governor of the Magadan region Sergey Nosov during a working meeting on the resettlement of Kolyma residents from emergency housing, stressed that the regional government will continue to monitor the validity of the construction of apartments.
"We will only buy finished housing. The Government of the Magadan region will under no circumstances participate in the shared construction. Therefore, it is important for contractors to clearly understand that the work will have to perform strictly on schedule, and playing with the price per square meter of housing is not possible at all. If the builders do not meet the amount of funding for facilities and deadlines for their delivery, they will be held responsible for the violations. They will have to pay for the excesses with their own money, not the state." explained Sergey Nosov.
In addition to the resettlement of emergency housing in 2023, it is still a priority to increase the rate of housing for orphans and persons from among them, through the purchase of apartments, as well as the provision of housing in new buildings.
The Regional Government, as an alternative way to support such Kolyma residents, is developing a bill on issuing certificates to orphans for the purchase of housing.
