The Magadan region has received the funds from the “Unified presidential subsidy” for modernization of social infrastructure

The change in plans for social development of economic growth centers, including the construction of social sphere and infrastructure facilities of the territory of advanced development (TAD), was discussed at a joint meeting of the Presidium of the Government Commission on Socio-Economic Development of the Far East and the Presidium of the State Commission on Arctic Development held under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev.

“For 2018-2023, 148 billion rubles have been allocated from the federal budget to eleven subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District for the implementation of plans for the social development of economic growth centers. To date, 605 facilities have been put into operation, 994 ones have been renovated, and almost 500 public areas have been arranged. People, living on 154 thousand square meters of emergency housing, were resettled. There were 75 thousand square meters of rental housing built. Within the project “1000 Yards”, the reconstruction of 1245 courtyards has been completed. In the Arctic, the first result from funds of the “Unified Presidential Subsidy” became visible a year ago. They got fewer funds – for 2022-2023, the subjects of the Arctic zone were provided with about 6.1 billion rubles from the Russian Government for the social development of the economic growth centers. There were 16 facilities built, 17 ones renovated and 175 pieces of equipment purchased. Today we will discuss how to allocate the “Unified Presidential Subsidy” among the regions for 2024,” Yuri Trutnev said.

The amendments to the plans for the social development of the economic growth centers of the Far Eastern regions (funds of the “Unified Presidential Subsidy”) were approved. The remaining limit is allocated among the regions, taking into account the population, budget provision and financial discipline according to the “Unified presidential subsidy” for previous years. Also, the all projects, included in the master plans of cities for which comprehensive plans have been adopted, will be financed without any exception, as well as modular gyms for schools under the program “50 gyms in schools of the Far Eastern Federal District”, modern workshops and centers for creative industries. A total of 33.7 billion rubles were allocated for 2024-2026.

The Magadan region received funds from the “Unified presidential subsidy” for building modern workshops and a center for creative industries, purchasing and installing a modular gym (the program “50 gyms in schools of the Far Eastern Federal District”), a children's playground in the park “Dyukcha”. The “Unified presidential subsidy” helps regions to accelerate the implementation of projects, to make sure that construction begins as early as possible. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin at the last VIII Eastern economic forum confirmed the priority of the development of the Far East.

They also approve the changes in the plans for the social development of the economic growth centers of the six Arctic territories. As part of the “Unified presidential subsidy” provided by the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia, they support the allocation of 863 million rubles for 2024 (1.6 billion rubles were distributed earlier), 500 million rubles for 2025, out of the reserved 1 billion rubles, and 155 million of the provided 1 billion rubles for 2026.
