Magadan is going to build a four-star hotel

At a meeting of the Magadan regional government, the Governor Sergei Nosov talked about the plan of building a hostel in micro district Nagaevo as the first step for creating the “Marine Facade” of Magadan.

Acсording to the regional head, active building work is expected to start this year.

“Now the object is being examined. Our plan is to start the construction this year,” the governor noted.

The renovation of the “Marine Facade” of Magadan was started with protecting the shore of Nagaev’s bay and building the Mayak park. Now “Marine Facade” is a complex of facilities, which are included in Magadan master-plan and are aimed to creating favourable conditions for life and work environment of the locals, improving Magadan tourism industry and creating new unique places, such as the Mayak park and the socio-cultural center “Premier”.

In September the governor of Magadan region submitted the Magadan master plan to the president of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. In his speech, Sergei Nosov drew attention to the necessity of solving the problems, which disturb people in Magadan. In turn, the head of state expressed his confidence that the decisions will have a positive impact on the economy and social sphere in general.
