The main task of the Council in the area of export activity development in the region includes assessment of the state, determining ways to improve the region's export potential.
The main functions of the Council are:
- development of recommendations on the organisation of interaction between the Executive Authorities of the Region, Active Regional Exporters and Companies planning to carry out export activities, and Organisations involved in the support and development of export activities of the Magadan Region;
- development of recommendations on the identification and reduction of administrative barriers and other barriers that impede the development of export activities of Companies registered in the Magadan Region;
- development of proposals for priority areas of export activities of the Magadan Region;
- development of recommendations on measures of state support for export activities;
- annual development and approval of joint work plans for export development in the Magadan Region;
- development of recommendations on improvement of export activities of Local Self-Government Authorities of municipalities of the Magadan Region;
- assessment of the results of implementation in the Magadan Region of provisions of the standard on an Enabling Environment for the development of export activities in regions of the Russian Federation;
- consideration of monitoring the implementation of the regional export programme.
